Kinder Village

Kinder Village includes all campers who have not yet entered Kindergarten. You can select from our full day program, 9AM to 4PM, or our mini-day program, 9AM to 1:00PM. Families may also opt to send their Kinder Village Campers for 3, 4 or 5 days.

Groups average 10-12 campers with 3 counselors per group. At least 1 counselor is a teacher while the majority of our staff are college-level and above. Campers entering Kindergarten are separated by sex.

Full-day campers will swim twice daily while mini-day campers will swim once. Campers participate in an age-appropriate and progressive program that allows them to make new friends, try new things, and have fun in a nurturing and creative environment.

Counselors in Training (CIT)

CITs are campers entering 10th grade. Woodmont CITs have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with children while also developing their leadership, communication and group management skills. CITs are assigned to camp groups on a weekly basis and assist group counselors with daily tasks.  CITs also participate in weekly Intensives along-side Super Senior campers. This allows CITs to continue developing their leadership and interpersonal skills with campers closer in age to themselves as well as delve deeper into specific activities of their choosing. In addition CITs participate in team-building activities, workshops, group discussions and much more. Upon completion of the program, many Woodmont CITs are invited to apply to work at Woodmont the following summer.

Upon completion of the CIT program, campers will be invited to apply to work at Woodmont for the following summer.
