Woodmont’s Program

Our program reflects the changing needs of children and offers new challenges as they progress through our Villages.

  • Small groups that average 12-15 campers with 2-3 counselors
  • Supervisors only oversee 3-4 groups allowing them to connect with each camper on a very personal level
  • Our Admin Team has 400 years of combined teaching experience

    Transportation from Tribeca

    Our modern fleet of air-conditioned school buses and vans is meticulously maintained. All are equipped with emergency communication devices and seatbelts to offer the safest transportation program from Lower Manhattan to our summer day camp. Prior to the start of camp all bus routes are personally driven to ensure the safest, shortest and most efficient route possible.

    Woodmont Day Camp is located 20 minutes north of the George Washington Bridge. We use the Palisades Interstate Parkway as our preferred route to camp.

    Our Manhattan bus drivers are thoroughly trained and are accompanied by hand-picked bus counselor. Woodmont follows guidelines and training practices that exceed those of the New York State Department of Transportation. Every one of our drivers is certified with a valid Commercial Driver’s License.
